First Swim

Our neighbors are out of town and wanted us to use their pool. Brysol didn't like the blow up thing we got for her to sit in. She felt much safer in mommy or daddy's arms.

First Food

Brystol finally started eating. I was a little sad for this moment but I'll live. She just had a little rice cereal and breast milk. It went better than I expected.
Excited and clean

I'm done!

All cleaned up

Wild Horses

The day after we returned to Vegas, Roman took us up to Cold Creek, about 85 miles from Boulder City to see wild horses. And boy did we get to see a lot of them. They were everywhere. It was a really cool experience. They would come right up to the car and Roman even fed them apples. I was feeding Brystol in the car when he was doing that and I was petrified that they were going to freak out and stampede over him or something. He's to brave......or crazy!

Brystol looking out of the car window checking them out.

Ohio

After the reunion in Detroit, we drove back and stayed 5 days with Sam, Roman's dad in Chardon, Ohio (about a half hour from Cleveland).

Geneva on the Lake, celebrating B's 6 month birthday!!!

Can't believe I've had her for 6 months. Life is so much better with Lil' B!

While stopped at the rest area, B got to "drive" the car. So cute!

I love her face here, wish the picture quality was better.

Mrs. Alisa and family

I met Alisa my first year of teaching here in Las Vegas 14 years ago and she has been a special friend ever since. Her and her family now live in Chicago and made a special drive over to see us. I was so excited to get to see her and her husband Doug and finally get to meet there darling kids Gabriel and Julia. Julia loved Brystol!

Reunion Time!

We borrowed a car from Roman's dad in Cleveland and drove to Detroit, Michigan, a couple hours away, for the reunion. Roman's family is so caring and friendly. You can go up to any child or adult and have a wonderful conversation. As soon as we got there Brystol vanished. I knew she was in good hands though and Roman always had a watchful eye : )
Tony and Kathy hosted the main reunion. Such wonderful people!

Oh Lil' B had lots of attention!

Aunt Gretchen finally got to hold Brystol. She was there when she was born but since she was in the NICU she couldn't hold her.

Grandma Paulette

Uncle Rob got a little surprise on his first hold...she leaked #1 AND #2 on him.

This little fella, Camden, weighed just over a pound and was three months early when he was born. He was quite the character at 4!

Rob and Paulette are brother and sister, joining is Rob's wife Gretchen and Paulette's boyfriend Gary.

B wasn't having anything to do with this. Her and I had to stay back from the boat ride.

Ah, he was so lonely without B he had to find a fill in.

This is Aunt Jane who turns 90 in February. We stayed at her house while we were at the reunion. What a special lady!
