Father's Day 2011

I got Roman this new dad shirt and Brystol's onesie says Daddy's Little Sweetie. We had a good day...Roman worked for a bit and then we went down to enjoy the strip. Most of these pictures were taken at the Flamingo.

School Time

Roman surprised me with bringing Brystol and my parents to school on the last day of school with kids. One of my 5th grade classes had asked everytime I met with them when I could bring Brystol in. They were so excited to finally get to see her. Roman made a grand entrance of course...he had put Brystol's visitor badge on her forhead and then took it off not knowing that it would stick quite so well. This usually calm, never crying girl turned bright read and cried her little heart out. Roman felt pretty bad about his stunt. He also picked the kids up some Krispy Kreme donuts. Yum!

Finding Hands & Shots

Brystol had her 4 month check up and shots on June 6th. This is also a good time to note that she has found her hands and is totally infatuated with them.

Grandma & Grandpa Sackrider visit

My parents came to help us out the last 4 weeks of school. It sure was nice to have them here. We all had a good time and Brystol got a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa.

Mt. Charleston

Just June

She dislikes tummy time tremendously!

A new friend...this soft, sweet little lamb winds up and plays music. She was a little unsure of him so the staring contest begun.

I had run out of options to keep her content so I put her in her new jumper (didn't think she was ready for it yet) and she loved it...for a little while.

Great granparents, Roman's grandparents

She LOVES books and looks intently at the pictures.

We need to get her a fish tank at home. She was watching them closely until...

...she conked out.

Baby Dedication

After watching the baby dedication ceremony for so many years at my church, Central Christian, I finally was able to participate. All those years of wondering if I would ever have a child of my own. I trusted in God and He delivered!

Roman's dad picked this dress out for Brystol. It was perfect for her dedication.

May Favorites

We went to a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) graduation picnic. Roman had lots of fun eating all the kids food.

I signed Brystol up for Gymboree classes. The first one wiped her out.

Lil'B loves looking at this thing twirl around.

Exactly 4 months old!

She was really starting to suck her thumb and we were freakin' out. She never took a binky for us so we thought we'd better try a little harder and she finally took to it at 4 months.
